Can I wash a down duvet in the washing machine ?

You can wash most down duvets at 40 degrees without any problems.

If you are allergic to house dust, down and feather bedding is the optimal solution for you. In the meantime, representative studies in Central Europe have shown that there is no reason to advise house dust mite allergy sufferers against using feather and down duvets. Down and feathers do not generally cause allergic respiratory reactions such as asthma and hay fever. An immediate “feather allergy” occurs very rarely.
